Regular - K to 6

The regular program at York School provides instruction from Kindergarten through Grade 6 that follows the mandated Alberta curriculum. 

Kindergarten

We offer a half day morning Kindergarten program - depending on enrollment numbers,  a half day afternoon class is also possible.  We provide each child with a comfortable yet stimulating atmosphere while promoting the child's total development.  Involvement from parents in learning and development is essential.

Regular Programs

York School offers a regular program to students from Grade 1 to Grade 6.  Students receive instruction in the core subject areas of Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies.  In addition, instruction is received in Music, Physical Education, Health and Art.   All students benefit from excellent instruction and quality resources.  In Grades 4-6, students receive instruction in Spanish Language and Culture.
